Tom Baird

Chief Executive Officer and Director

Tom is a seasoned CEO and strategy executive who has led a number of small and medium sized businesses to turnaround and exits. He has also led corporate development and product management organizations for both publicly traded and private companies such as TRW Inc. (now Northrop Grumman), Reynolds and Reynolds and Mitchell International. Most recently, Tom was a co-founding partner of a licensed California cannabis manufacturer. He is a hands-on operational executive that drives results.

Jonathan Gilbert

Director

Most recently, Mr. Gilbert was the founder and CEO at Tassili Life Sciences Corp., a biotech firm conducting research utilizing Psilocybin. Tassili was successfully acquired by a public company in March of 2020. He was also the founder and CEO of Scythian Biosciences Inc. from December of 2014 through May of 2018. Scythian was a publicly traded research and development company in Canada focusing on the prevention and treatment of concussions and traumatic brain injury with its proprietary Cannabinoid combination, as well as strategic investments and partnerships across cultivation, distribution and retail of legal Cannabis. Prior to founding Scythian Biosciences, from January 2013 to December 2014, Mr. Gilbert was Marketing Officer for Commonwealth Opportunity Capital, GP, a hedge fund based in Greenwich, Connecticut. From October of 1995 until December of 2012, Mr. Gilbert was the owner and operator of Gilbert Capital Management, Corp., a full-service private wealth management firm. Gilbert was the founding CEO of Eleusian and will continue to play an active role with GreenStar, helping drive our strategy forward.

Leighton Bocking

Director

Leighton has been working in the capital markets for over 15 years. His primary role has been as an independent corporate development consultant in addition to holding various directorship positions. Leighton has been particularly focused on financing and structuring companies. An active investor, he started in the industry at Canaccord before moving to the public company side of the business.
